Rossi make and market one here?
A nother thing a 44 Spl seems like the perfect
round for a Winchester 1866 and Henrys.
As close as you can get to the old RF44 Henry round.
For a reloadable round that is.

Uberti makes '66's in .44 Special, not sure about Henry's, but I have a Uberti '73 in .44 Special; like it a lot, particularly with black powder.

Cimarron makes the Henery and the 66 in 44 Special. The 44 Special is almost identical to the 44 Henery CF that was made for South America in the late 1800's. I use mine with 26 grains of FFg and a 215 gr rnfp to duplicate the Henry round. This puts the bullet out the tube at 1150fps from a 24" bbl and will shoot into 3" at 100 yards with factory irons. The cases last a little longer than the 44-40's also.

Rather have Rossi make a 1886 in 45-70 or 38-55.

I would like to see that myself. Rossi already makes the strongest leveraction for pistol length cartridges(92) and it would be nice for them to add an 86 to the line up for rifle length cartridges.
