I am pretty sure I have a bad chamber on my Marlin 94 CB. Has anyone ever had a barrel set back and rechambered on a lever gun? I know the wood would have to be shortened and reworked to fit the hangers since it would be shorter.

The magazine tube must also be equally shortened.

How old is your rifle? If in fact it is bad why don't you return it to Marlin and let them replace the barrel or do the repair?
Just my 2 cents.

I'd put it up for sale. You can always buy a another one.My 20 inch 357 shoots pretty good most of the time but I'm hoping they will make a CB in 30-30 again for more accuracy.I don't think a pistol cal gun will shoot as good at 100 yards and beyond.
