I understand LEE makes a twenty pound melter that is not bottom pour . Question is , does it have the same thermostat control as the rest of the line . Thanks , I haven't seen a real good description in print yet .

I would assume so. I own one but have never done a side by side comparison. I like mine fine.

The two (120 Volt) 20LB melters, the Pro 4-20 and the Magnum Melter, both use Thermostat 120V 20LB, Lee PN EL3466.

Magnum Melter
Large 4" diameter pot allows easy access for the ladle caster. Same high efficiency design that has made Lee pots the most popular. Melt time is less than 20 minutes with just 700 watts. 20-lb capacity for the longest casting session.
At best, 15 lbs of melt is the capacity of this pot!

with the deletion of the bottom pour parts same thing

I`m thinkin the only difference is voltage 120 or 220 ac .

John Boy , that's the one I'm talking about . It doesn't say if it has an adjustable thermostat .

Fifteen pounds of alloy ? somebody missed their guess in R&D there huh?
