Just got back from a very hot off-hand shooting session.
My groups have shrunk some since the last time I shoot on paper and I can now consistanly blast 16 OZ water bottles hidden behind limbs and range trash.
Thats what I like about this load (165gr cast 8.2gr of Unique) is that if the critter is behind a limb or something you can plow right thru it and still not really damage the meat.
Also shot some .223 cal in a sabot out of the 30-30 with 30gr of IMR3031. I only loaded 5 but they were minute of milk jug. Boy did that make a mess!!![:p]
I'm working on a easier way to load these sabot. I had a hard time with it. But I've about 90 of them left and I still want to play with them.
Pic of offhand shooting at my self-imposed 35 yard small game distance.

Off the bench they group like this. The bottom 4 or 5 were with the sight at the 6 o'clock hold the rest were with the sight covering the black dot.
