When I was younger, I use to shoot the DCM at Camp Perry
in Port Clinton, here in Ohio.

I've shot there by myself, with others, my kids and once
with a 16 year old girl who did a very good job of out shooting me.

I haven't been able to make it the last three years because
I have to work almost every Saturday.

If any of you ever get the chance to do it (shoot Camp Perry)
do it and take your kids with you. They'll remember it for ever.

I usually make it. I'm single though so have no excuse not to. Additionally, we have a cottage about 15 minutes away, so doubly no reason.

Myself and a couple friends went up the last few years to hit the CMP store, and vendor row.

I'd like to shoot there just to say I did, but wouldn't know where to begin.

I have shot at Perry for several years. It's always a good time.

The long matches can be a test of endurance. I'll be there a lot this summer.

I have not shot in several years
But as I live 20 or so min West of Camp Perry
I wander around a few times every year

After not being able to see the iron sights well enough for as long as I have
My guess I will never shoot anything at Perry , other than a few rounds of skeek

Same here. Vendors row is neat if'n you get no further.

I shot Perry during CMP week in 2006... heat & humidity darned near killed me! I was shooting Springfield, Garand and Carbine matches all week and stayed in the barracks. I was having flashback to basic training in the morning! :)

I'm shooting Carbine, Vintage and Springfield this year. I will miss Garand due to a wedding.

I've been then, was on an Ohio state championship team back about 1990, and I've already registered to go this year to shoot one of my Krags in the Vintage Match. With new barrels available, and the target friendly sights a Krag has, I think this will be the year the foreign rifles had better watch out! I'm not shooting cast this year, going with the Hornady 123gr, .310" diameter V-Max at 2400fps. My rifles have original barrels with .310" groove diameters.
