My Dad died on Memorial Day 1960. I was 18 years old at the time of his death. He was a member of the 3rd Ohio
Machine gun Battalion, 42nd Infantry Division (Rainbow) in WW1. Even though he
has been dead for 60 years, I still miss him and think of him daily. He started me in shooting 62 years ago, when I was 6 years old. We shot at targets with a Stevens 053 single shot rifle in .22 WRF caliber. He was a great father and a true marksman.
