Would Lar45's BAC lube work well for the 285Gr RN/GC 358009 in a 35 Whelen? These will be hunting loads not plinkers lol.
Thank You for your thoughts. :)

I use BAC for virtually everything from 223 w/Bator boolit to 50 Alaskan. I have shot it over 2500fps out of my 308 and 30/06. It has worked very well for me and I went through 12 sticks of it last year.

Great to hear. Do you need heat for BAC to flow well?

NO it flows great as is. I will warn you that it can be a little on the sticky side but have not had any problems with it pulling out of the grooves.

I have found BAC to be the perfect lube for paper patched rifle bullets. It even does a good job of water proofing the patch.

Sure is nice to hear good things about BAC..I just did my first batch of boolits using it. Unbeknown to me, the good folks who make it only live 5 miles down the road !
