Got a question, I have a '17 winchester cut down enfield action that lacks a rear sight. The lyman 57 series (steel ones not the soda pop can ones) are marked SME for springfield, mauser, enfield. I'm looking for a 48 series for the enfield. The rear receiver ring has been profiled somewhat at this point. The question is will a 48 series lyman sight for lets say a 1903A3 fit the rear receiver ring if it has been modified to the proper contour. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Frank
