Lube measurements ?

I been looking over the lube mixtures and I got a ?
example Speed Green got to be the as easy as they get right, Three parts wax to one part bullplate. Wax by weight but is bullplate by weight? It would be alot easier if all were in the same measurements weight volume or what ever. Three cups of wax to one cup of bullplate. Thats 3 to 1 ? so what is the amount of bullplate one of his bottles or one cup?:confused:

Thankyou Spqrzilla I understand that but what I was saying is instead of parts of this and that more like Hey dummy you take two lbs or two cups and mix one oz or what ever with it maybe Iam not being clear on this. Just thinking it seems so many that start making lube have so many ? about it.

Since the recipe is a ratio, you just use some simple math starting with the amount you want to end up with. If you want 12 oz of lube, a 3 to 1 ratio means you need 9 ozs of the larger component and 3 oz of the smaller.
