We still have not put a date on the release of these because we are still testing with the prototype. Obviously these is a long and tedious process but we are working diligently towards it.

The new 12 gau sabots for reloading were due to be released last month


Any idea as when they will be released ?

As I would like to get started working up some loads

I am waiting for them also. Remember to start loading anything like these from the very low end of the powder chart.

Last year, I had problems with one of BPIs product when I started with a "middle of the road" chart from their charts. Way too hot for a couple of shot guns.

Dixie has been testing the new BPI sabot with our hard cast .503"-640 gr Tornado Bullet.....and it's a winner. We now have some 300 gr+ brass hollowpoints to test.
All in All...this re-designed sabot works with reasonable pressure/velocity...James
