Does anyone know the source of the round flake powder that Jeff Bartlett sold as #105?

He listed it as being comparable to Unique, which I have found to be true at least as far as the chronograph can compare them.

Does not meter very well, but weighed charges are accurate, best so far in my 1886 with RD's boolit.

Recently I purchased some powder from Jeff he called Unique on his web site. The canisters are marked M9. In appearance M9 is identical to #105. I tested three powders, Unique, M9, and #105. Using the same charge weight, with LBT LFNGC 320 gr bullets in a FA 454 Casull, statistical analysis of velocities indicated that M9 and #105 are the same (N=20). They are not the same as Unique. M9 and #105 produced 5% greater velocity than Unique.

Bartlett claimed that #105 was equivalent to Green Dot. See my message above.

I have some 105 I got from bartlett I'm the mid 90s. It was advertised as being an AA5 equivalent. I use it as such and it has worked well for me.
A nice flattened ball powder that meters well. Should have bought more of it.
