I finally got enough milk jugs around for the test.
I had 5 jugs and the boolit (NOE 314-129 HP) went through
two jugs and lodged in the third.
I measured it for diameter and it expanded to .549".
Pretty good for a 32 magnum.
It weighted 117.2 grs. before firing, and 116.8 after.
Boolit was cast with 20/1, lead /tin.

I'm thinking it will do the job on game animals weighing from 50-80lbs.

Hickory,
That is just plain beautiful.
I was wondering if that bullet would fit into a Ruger single-six cylinder? Looks like it might be long. I hope I'm wrong, that looks like just what I've been looking for to use on called coyotes.

I'm thinking it will do the job on game animals weighing from 50-80lbs.

The 32 with a FP of 100-115 gr at speeds over 1000 fps or so will do the job even without the HP. Even out of a 32 S+W Long at 800 it'll do a pretty good job. Your boolit should do great!

The gun I used was a Ruger Single-Six 32 Mag. This is a good handy and accurate little gun.
The load was 4.0 grs of Unique, with Starline brass. I know the loads a little hot, but the primers (CCI 500) did not flatten out and they extracted easily.

Next I'll try working up some loads for accuacry. I'll let you know later.

Very cool. I'll bet those would be great in my Ruger SP-101 in .327 Federal.

Hickory, The first pic looks like they were cast with sonft noses( BruceB style), but the 2nd pic looks like the nose punch is leaving a ring around the nose. Are they soft cast or all one alloy? Looks good which ever.

I guess I got in a hurry with the boolits in the second picture and did not let the heater do its job before I started to size them.
The alloy is 20/1 lead tin or put another way 95% lead and 5% tin.
nice and ductile.

I'm thinking it will do the job on game animals weighing from 50-80lbs.

From the looks of the mushroom. it would do the job on two legged animals weighing more.
