What composition/alloy would you recommend for 148G .38 Special target loads w/3G Bullseye...I have litotype and reclaimed range bullet lead and I think I should add some 50/50 virgin lead...but I am not sure...and I realize that the Bullseye is maybe a little heavy but ...well that is not the issue at this time...might you advise me...

Chaz,

Welcome aboard!

For light loads in a .38 spl, you don't need a hard boolit. Your range scrap will suffice, and you might even want to cut that softer with some pure lead. Your load seems OK. go with it and see what you get for accuracy.

Your range scrap would prolly work fine, thats a light load so it doesnt need a lot of help, but the best advice always seems to be "try it and see what happens". There is no set rule for each gun or load.

I'd use the soft cheap range scrap. :)
