Anyone got any suggestions? I haven't tried a .224 on the Lyman 228367 mold.

There's got to be a way to skin this cat.

Thank you, Sir! Have a LOVELY 98 Mauser built on a G33/40 action that just wont stabilize the Hornady 70 gr bullet. It liked the 90 gr Barnes originals. No more 90 gr Barnes. Coni Boorks and company just laughed at me when I offered to commission a run of 10,000. Someone out there would buy 7,000 .228 90gr Barnes bullets.

I dont want to swage; so I found a 228367, but it looks like I'm going to be right back in the tumblina business once I get some Gator .22's. Somewhere out there is a 22835 78gr.

Cut it for gas checks and hollow point it .. cast it with soft lead. Then I can go back to smacking whitetails.

I've been using regular Hornady .22 GC's on my 228367, running them through a .228 die. Accuracy is exceptional in my Savage 1899H .22 HiPower.

I've a .227" mould here that takes standard 22 checks. It's for sale.
Old West Bullet Mould. 70 grain. Brass blocks. I bought it thinking it was a standard 223 mould. As in it was a bit mis described in the auction.
