took it out with a pile of differnt loads using 150 sierra flat based spitzers and 150 hornady interlocks. Best groups were the 150 sierra with h4350 that load went 5 shots into 7/8s of an inch and the 150 hornady using ramshot big game went 15/16s for 5 at a 100 yards. Not bad for a couple hundred dollar gun.

Ya just gotta love that kind of economy in a rifle . Now you can maybe afford to go on a guided trophy truck hunt with the savings huh?

Saw the title and thought Loyd had gone dyslexic on us. :D

What's a truck gun? Is there a season on trucks / daily bag limit?

Good morning
A Truck gun is similar to a Toyoto Stomper.. Mine is a double Fox 12 Guage with .685 Ball bearings in shot cups pushed at 1500 + fps. Garenteed to play havoc on aluminum blocks of all sorts of configuration and straight 6 cast iron. But LLoyds rig has mine beat for distance shots. I have to let the "beast" get closer to 30 yards for real accuracy.

My truck gun is a beat up 94 Winchester that I cleaned up and painted with bake on parkerize paint. It has good accuracy and the finish is standing up well for the last two years I have been using it for this purpose. It constantly rides behind my front seat along with fifty rounds of ammo.
