Do the handles come off Lee's 2 cavity moulds? I can't see how if they do.

That's the problem, they come off far to easy.

The handles are friction fit only.

Tap on the chrome ring ( tap in the direction away from the mold itself ) and they will slide right off.

Uhh...he's trying to find out how to remove the handles from the mould...not how to disassemble the handles.

The pins that hold the handles on are staked in position...as I have read it.
It's said that if you drill out the staked portion, the pins will slide out with a little encouragement.

Often a cheap knife is all it takes to remove the peened over area holding the pin in.

When I get a used Lee mold, I ream the staked hole under the pin just enough to let the pins fall out. I then run a #8-32 set screw into the hole. It will self tap. Once done scrubbing and cleaning the mold halves, the blocks get put back on to the handles. The pins are held in place by the set screws, snug is all you need. That way in the future, I can disassemble again if needed.
