Going thru some more "stuff'. Came up with a .457 bullet sizing die, closely resembles a Lyman or RCBS, but does not have an o-ring, not even an o-ring groove. 4 rows of 4 holes evenly 90 degrees spaced. Maybe a Star? I don't think I've ever seen a Star die.
No; I can't do pictures.
Help, anybody?

Guesser,
Early Lyman dies didn't use an O-ring, but did have a round-bottom groove close to the top. I think lube was forced into the groove, ala a boolit's lube groove, thereby creating a seal.

.............A Star die. Well a die body as it doesn't have any lube holes yet but that's what they look like.
