Can anyone verify that you can use 45 AR brass in the current run of 625s in the ACP that come with the moonies? Thanks.

You might check with Cayoot. IIRC this is one of his favorite Wheelguns.

The auto rim cases work fine in my 1989 version of the 625.

Dunno if they are still in production or not, but HKS once made speed loaders for 45 AR cartridges. They worked very well in my Model 25-2.

They work great!

I and a buddy of mine who has one of the new "Thunder Ranch" 45 acp revolvers (mine is a 625) use them all the time for practice. Saves time on messing with moon clips.

Don't get me wrong, I love moon clips, but they do take time, and when just practicing for accuracy we don't bother with them.

I bought a large box of AR brass from Starline a year or so ago and have been thrilled with them ever since!
