Hi team, this is my recent effort at the 250 grn. LBT WFN. .412, BHN-12; lubed with Mule snot as I will not be sizing. I have loaded many of these boolits with 18.5 H110; it is rapidly becoming my future elk cartridge. they are fired out of a RugerNMB 4 5/8", with .411 throats and .409 bore, which has been firelapped. I have in the last free weeknights cast over 600 of these boolits and the mold will be returned to it's owner (deepwaterco). Of the 600 hundred: 120 are WQWW@BHN20, 200 ACWW@ BHN17 and the rest are BHN 12-14. Soooo... Any suggestions on loads or am I fine with 8 grns Unique for light loads and 17.5-18.5 H110 for hunting loads?

good looking work-- you did a good job-- I shoot a lot of 255WLNgc in my .41--.411 never have sized the barrel-- but that fits the cylinder just fine-- the 250 area is a good weight in the .41s- I have a normal .41 - a 41/445 and a 41/454-- so I am all over the place with .41s

I have the same LBT mold for my .41. All I can say is WOW. My bullets are a lot softer than yours at 20-25:1 and are plain based but they do well with about 14 gr of 2400 for a heavy load and 5 gr of Unique serves well for a light load. From my Smith 57, both loads are quite accurate and the heavy load is deadly on game.

Those look like a whole bunch of flying hammers.

GLynn41, I am the person that bought your 220wfn, from which I casted many boolits (I'm reapeating myself- Awesome mold and still taken care of). But,,,, I wanted a heavier boolit for elk. I have shot the 220 with 17.5-H110 and it is not only accurate but I have no leading in my NMBH, after I did some work on it. My S&W 57 is now a safe queen.
