my next loading project seems to be 2 kahr 9mms, mk9 and a cw9. they appear to have poly rifling. do you think I should avoid cast in them. Is all the proplems with glocks and cast a glock thing or all poly rifling.

I run cast in my CW45 with no problems at all and it groups well.

The Glock problem has nothing to do with the geometry of the rifleing, no need to worry about that.

Keep in mind though, that some of the polygon barrels like larger boolits.

I used to own and got rid of a CW9. Nothing wrong with the gun and it was wonderful to carry in a inside the waistband holster, shot great too. My problem was that the grip was a touch too long for ankle gun carry. Used to use the Lee 124 gr.(or is it 125 gr.) tumble lube bullet with a nice thick coat of LLA on it. Mix brass and 3.5 gr. Unique. It cycles the action good enough and didn't lead the barrel like some that I tried previously did. Just as a side note, the MK9 has poly rifling and the CW series has conventional rifling.

I shot over 3500 rds of cast through a K 9 that I owned a few years ago. Nice accurate carry gun and never had a FTE or FTF as long as there was enough powder to operate the slide full travel. IMO a very well made gun. Mine shot both the Lee 121 and Kead 147's very well.

I shoot cast in my PM45, and yes, it likes them a bit larger. I was getting bad leading until I upped the size .001. Same load & boolit, zero leading.
