I am a total fan of Blue Dot. I just picked up a .38spl revolver and I need load data for it.
I cast 150 Lee RF, without gas checks. A nice little round.
I am also wanting load data on HB wad cutters loaded backwards, useing Blue Dot.
I lost my book. I looked everywhere. I had one.
I hate loseing anything.

Can you go to the manufactures website and look it up?

I went there. They no longer list it.
I have found an old book. Sierra has load data for it.
I have always liked Blue Dot in .38spl. No race horse, but reliable.

If you can find some HS7 it is the racehorse powder in .38 spl. (mild .357 velocities with high but safe 38 special pressures). Alcan AL7 is very good too for making velocity at acceptable pressures (but I doubt you can find any of that). What kinda .38 special revolter are we talking about? Blue Dot is one of my favs too. In the special, I'd guess 8 grains or less. What does your book say? Unique was all but made for the 38 special it seems to me (for non envelope pushing loads I mean).

Leftiye, 8gns is a lot for the heavier loads, not so bad for lighter ones.
I got an EAA EA/B alloy revolver. Kinda just to play with. I have to use my trifocals to see the sights.
Depending on the weight,
140gn JHC, 8.2 borders on mild/hot.
158gn JHC, 7.8 is mild/hot.
125gn JHC, 8.9 is mild/hot.
I gotta find a load for putting in hollow base wad cutters in backwards.
