Paper carterages

Some where i read how to make the nitrate paper carterages for the 58 cal zouave but can't remember where. does any one have the directions for making the nitrate paper. I THINK I REMEMBER HOW TO ROLL THEM, i HOPE. any help would be appricated tdoor4570@bresnan.net:killingpc

[Lead pot]

100% cotton onion skin paper with out a bunch of sizing in it is the paper to use. In other words a paper that soaks up water like a ink blotter.
Delude as much potassium nitrate that water will dissolve ans soak your paper in that solution for a few minutes and let it dry on a pain of glass.
It's best to cut your paper to the proper diameter before soaking it in the nitrate.

Thanks lead pot it was the type of paper that i could not remember. now off to find what is left of my pot nitrate, sure hope the molds that i ordered get here soon, want to soot that beast
