TC 460 barrel? Who has one?

No, its one of the older TC's

I have it in A S&W revolver with the gain twist

T/C never made a gain twist barrel. The 460 has the same lousy "forcing cone" as the 357 Maxi. Word is that they designed it to insure pressures didn't spike. You can still coax decent accuracy out of it but it is not as accurate as a real chamber with a ball seat leade.

If you want a 460 S&W Encore bbl get a 454 bbl and run in a 460 reamer then cut the throat. Or have Mike Bellm do it. Or David White or...

I think ole Mike is an arrogant *** and personally wouldn't use him for anything. I will probably just sell this one and have MGM make me one.

To each his own. I've had 2 MGM bbls that were worthless. One wouldn't even close, the other had a very oversize hinge pin. The stuff from Mike has been very good:takinWiz:
