CH dies in BIG press?

I am getting a few inquires from many of you luckly enough to own a walnuthill and similar Corbin/RCE press as to the possibility to use my CH improved dies in their press. Not having one of these presses myself I do not know for sure but I know we can find a way.

A little info from those of you that know would be much appericated. As long as we can get a 7/8x14 threaded adapter to fit the big press I am pretty sure I can devise a base punch to fit the ram. I imagine the ram is threaded, yes?

It should be easy, The Walnut Hill even has a couple holes in the top plate for an ejector system to feed thru.

The ram is threaded 7/8-14 as well as the adapter in the top plate.

Something as simple as a 7/8-14 1/2-20 thread reducer would probably work.

It may also be possible to thread the die in upside down into the ram and use the ejector feature more like its "supposed" to work ;)

Yes a reducer for the 7/8x14 ram would make for easy 1/2x20 style base punches.

I'll have to look a bit closer at some pics but it sounds like it would work great.

It would be easier if I had one :) To much fun to tinker and build our own I guess. Maybe somday.
