Is the new IMR4198 now the same as H4198 ?

IMR 4198 is a smidgen faster, according to the Hodgdon burning rate chart.

Last I checked H was short cut and IMR was still the old long grains. I have some H-4198 it's the short cut but it's still a bit dicey to meter. Rx7 meters lots better. I'm still weighing every charge of H-4198. When I use it up I'll stay with Rx7 , H-Benchmark , 4895 and others that will drop from the measure. call me lazy.

You're lazy! Weigh everything! :kidding: At the lower loadings the two powders look close in charge/velocity. At the higher end H looks like you can add more powder, like Willy said, "a smidgen faster."
