I like to cast with just one glove on the right hand so the left can realy pick up well.
But not with these.

I have a Belding and Mull that's the same, didn't notice them at first as they were painted over topside, but it didn't take me long to find the bottomof the rivet once the mold was warm.

Pull them out, cut the heads off, and put the shanks back in with a small nail set. Fill the holes with JB weld, flush with the handle surface. No more little burned dots on your fingers.

I had a set of Lymans that were loose.......made casting a real chore trying to keep the handles from swiveling around and still pour. I finally got disgusted and made a very permanent cure........JB Weld. Removed the wood and cleaned everthing then just slobbered it on, tapped the handles back on and let them cure. They've been tight ever since.

If they ever need to be replaced I guess I'll just start whittling.............
