What does everyone think:
10 grains Unique under a 130 grain cast boolit in a 30-30? Does this sound like a good plinking load? or should I start somewhere else?

I'm curious of what mold you are using.

That load will work provided that your bullet is sized for the rifle groove diameter.

That's what I loaded for some bullets that weighed that much but I have not shot them yet. I will post the results when I do. Anyway that what was recommended to me.

Ten grains of Unique with a 150 grain bullet is a goot 100 yard target load in the 30-30.

Personally, I have had better luck with Unique at less than 10 grains with up to 150 grain boolit weight. Anything over 8 grains and not as accurate in 5-different 30-30's.
