Just acquired a 50 + pound supply of Swage-o-Matic lead wire for 40 - 45 caliber. Each box contains 25 pounds of wire in long rods.

Any idea of its value? I cast bullets...I DONT swage, so I'll probably end up selling it.

I also acquired close to 1,000 (total) 1/2 or 3/4 copper jackets for 9mm/38 and 44 mag. Any idea what they're worth?

Thanks.

you may consider it hasardous material so you would need to send it to me, and I will dispose of it properly....:bigsmyl2:

Jackets run anywhere from 10 cents to 14 cents each depending upon how many are ordered... I pay about 175.00 for 1300 1.2 inch 30 cal. The larger cal jackets are less as they take less to make them.

The lead, is soft lead, so, you may just want to keep it and melt it down.. Lead wire, the cheapest I have found for a roll of 50 lbs of .246 was 120.00 delivered.

If I had dies for those caliber bullets, I would have been interested, but, I don't

I would buy the half jackets from you, if we can come up with a reasonable price.
PM me the details. Are they Herters jackets?

I don't have any other details about the jackets. I measured the OD diameter....The 44 mags are (of course) .429" and .400" in ht. The 9mm / 38(?) jackets are .353" diameter and .330" in ht.
