Anyone have a clue what the throats are like in new Savage bolt guns chambered for 7-08 and .308? I've read here that SAAMI 7-08 throats are very short but that doesn't necessarily mean Savage 7-08 throats are likewise, or does it? I want to buy the Savage (7-08 or .308) with the longer throat; i.e., the throat most likely to accommodate an LBT LFN without very deep seating into the cartridge case.
