View Full Version : .41 WC Group Buy

Leftoverdj

We are now taking orders of a six cavity 200 grain .413 WC. The drawing should be posted soon. PM me to place an order, and I'll tell you where to send funds. Price looks like $58 barring price increases.

I'll be glad to ship to our non-US friends, but ask that they pay by PayPal and allow for extra postage. My bank charges a surcharge on foreign money orders.

I'm also going to need screen name, email address, and mailing info from everyone. Keeping up with who is whom can be a bear.

Looking at Sept 1st, depending on how the orders come in. Certainly not before then.

I'm counting on y'all to help spread the word. Feel free to post a link on any of the other boards you post on.

Very slow going. Spread the word.

Payment for 2 molds sent about 2 weeks ago. Has it been received? Such a listing by ZIP code gives GB members a good idea of where we stand and encourage others to join. Those who may be interested are going to shy away if they get the impression this GB is just sitting gathering dust.

In advance, thanks for your consideration, Bob [29439]

Aw come on guys. Don't let this thing die on the vine.
Hell's Bells™ I'm on disability and I've scraped together enough for one.
I've been searching for two years for an affordable 41 wadcutter mold.
Here's one in our grasp, an original, unique design, and a six banger no less and everyone's dragging their feet.

I know there's been a lot of group buys lately. And some of y'all are spread a little thin, but dangit I really want one of these. ANd I think some of y'all really want one too.

If you can't afford it right now at least show some support and extend it.
Don't let it slip away.

Well, if you decide not to cancel I'm in for two.

Depending on how long it lasts I might get more.
Unless there's a rule against reselling them.

I would be fine with dividing up the $100 set up fee by the number of participants or moulds. I have no problem paying an extra 10 or 12 bucks to get one of these moulds. I'd really kind of like to get one of these. It is a really nice design and would be great to have.

My dos centavos.

I'm the reloading moderator over on Club1911 dot com.
I just posted a notice over there regarding this group buy.
We're a small forum but hopefully we can get another order ot three.

I also posted one on another private forum I'm on.

I've been looking high and low for several years for a .41 wadcutter mould and they're harder to find than hen's teeth.
All I've seen is a couple of single cavity Lyman #41026 moulds on FleaBay that went for obscene prices.
And here we have a unique design that's too good to pass up in my opinion.
And it's a six cavity no less. Friends and neighbors as you already know that's a lot of bullets in a short amount of time.

Right now I'm on state disability from breaking my back in 2004 and money is damn tight. If the buy ended today I'm in for one.
If it waits until closer to the end of the month I'll take two.
Hell's Bells™ if I could, I'd buy a dozen.
I know they'd sell real well at the shows out here.

Mike, I agree about the triple crimp groove. I've never seen a full WC with even one. However, rather than hold up the works, I'm just thinking of it as a variegated lube groove.

BluesBear
09-12-2006, 12:16 PM
But heretofore no one has bothered to design one that could be used in a lever action rifle.

Up to now they've just been for paper punching with revolvers.

We're up to about a dozen orders and I am not going to cancel . New target date is early November. We'll either make the 25 by then or see who's willing to pay the shared setup fee. I'll get the list of those paid up posted this weekend. It'll be short, but a half dozen more want to buy and I have stalled them until it was clear I would not have to return checks.

I hope everything's okay.

As I understand it honchoing these deals is a lot or work.
I honchoed a group buy of NBC bullets (I'll never deal with those crooks again) and I know it can easily turn into a huge mess.

So I can understand if there is a delay or other unexpected problem.
All I'm asking for is an update.
If the order hasn't been sent I'd even like to order a second mould.

But seriously my main concern is that Emmet, and his family, is okay.
He's posted on the forum as recently as December 14 but it seems like he's been off since then.
