I'm looking at getting 3 Saeco molds for my 444's .

Anybody used the Saeco #431 , this is a 250 grain GC .

Or the Saeco #432 which is a 265 grain GC .

And finally the Saeco #433 which is a 300 grain GC mold .

All three of these are RN FP molds .

I'm fairly confident I can make all 3 of them shoot to suit me in my old rifles . I was just wondering if anyone had any experience with these three in a 444 !

I've shot the #433 in the .444 and it did right well. I picked up a RCBS 300 grainer and now use it and let #2 son have the 433 for his SBH as he was without a heavy bullet.

The Saecos are nice moulds but every one I have had was marginal on diameter.

Still, that's a good bullet for the .444/beagle

I've had Saeco molds #322 (for the 32-20) , #281 (for a 7-30 Waters) and #316 (for 30-30 Marlin's).

I shot a good many of the #316's in a bunch of Marlin 30-30's with very good results . Same can be said for the #322 in several marlin 32-20's . But sad to say I never built a 7-30 Waters and traded off the #281 mold .

Normally I can do very well with a bullet that fills a .431" sizing die in my 444's . So "maybe" I'll have decent luck with them when and if I obtain them !

I use that #316 in both .30-30 Marlins (one micro and one not). Also use the thing in .30-06 with 12 grains of Unique as a plinker. It is a real shooter. Don't have any Saeco .44 moulds to report on. The #322 is a good one in .32-20 and as a decent little plinker in .30 caliber when sized down.

Well I certainly don't need them but I ordered all three of the 44 cal Saeco molds and a top punch today from Midway !

The 250 and 265 grainers should be here sometime in may ! The top punch next week and the 300 grainer in the next 2 months as it's special order !

Anyway we shall see how these do on deer this year or next ;-)
