I picked up this second hand promelt at a friendly price, they are over £450 new here , but it was missing some of its pouring mechanism parts.

Emailed RCBS they sent me a parts breakdown sheet, told me to identify what parts I needed and send it to them, I did as instructed and the parts are on there way to me FoC.

You can't beat that for standing behind a product.

A good friend ofmine has the same pot, the few times I've used it makes me wish I had one instead of the Lee 4-20 bottom pour I use. I just can't afford one. Congrats on a great pot, and I do agree RCBS customer service is top notch.

Yep, that's par for the course for RCBS.

Four hundred and fifty pounds! Yikes! Man, that is stiff.

The only major piece of reload equipment I have that isn't RCBS is my melter. I love RCBS. Everything has been flawless, including service.

The RCBS PRO-Melt is by far the best piece of equipment you can purchase if a caster. I also had good luck years ago with the Lyman pots. After a break in casting of any kind and only with my Star dies and Star with a few molds left in boxes. When I decided to fire it all back up I purchased two Lee pots to get going. Big mistake; they are a hassle to work with and will not keep a temp. I went and purchased a RCBS about 18 months ago now and have been happy with casting again. The Wagge is also the laddle pot to use if one is making the big boys for down range work.
