Looking for some load data for rcbs 145 cast in the 7-tcu with wc-820 powder. The powder may be too fast, but ok for lighter loads?

w.w. wall,
I haven't used WC820, but , it looks like same burn rate as AA#9 or H110. That falls right in between 2 loads that I do use in the 7tcu.

I use these loads to shoot IHMSA/NRA Silhoutte in Standing Class- very accurate and mild to shoot. Bullets cast- ww/10% lino,or 20:1 (bhn 9-10) retains good knock down@200m
Hope this helps,

My guess for your wc820 would be to start around 10-12 grains.

Thanks for the info Jon K, I'll give it a shot and see how it goes. My usual load for this bullet is 22.0 grains of wc-846 and it shoots great, but I wanted to try wc-820 because I have quite a bit of it, about 16 pounds. Should make a nice light standing load.
