Mine do in my pistols. If you're having problems you'll have to be more specific.

It depends upon the design. Roundnose designs usually feed well, trunciated cones are good too. Depending upon the pistol, some semiwadcutters are good. However, some pistols just don't feed anything well.

I have personally fired several hundred thousand lead boolits in semiauto pistols
over the last 35 yrs. they DO work as a general rule. However, it is entirely possible
to make up a cartridge with a lead boolit that will NOT work. The boolit must be
properly designed, cast, lubed, fitted to the barrel and chamber and the load must
be of sufficient power to cycle the gun. Not particularly difficult to do, but you can
do it wrong.

What caliber, what gun, what purpose? Be more specific and we can give you a good
starting point and save a bunch of wasted time.

As far as semi autos go I have had good luck with my 1911 and cast in both round nose and semi wad cutters.

.............My Witness (CZ75 clone) in 38 Super feeds this just fine. It's the RCBS 38-162 SWC-GC. Haven't tried a WC yet:-) Pistols are different but it seems to me if it'd feed a SWC, short of a WC it Should feed most others.

I have 5 Simis and they all feed lead fine. COL is always important in feeding.

Seat a WC about 60 -70 % into the case and try it. We have used many of the Lee 148 gr. WC in the Super like that for years. They fed fine in the pistols we've used.

I've shot bout a thousand out of my Beretta 92 FS 9mm. They feed fine and come out the other end just as well.

Mine are out of a Lee TL356-124-2R 124 gr tumble lube boolit, with very thin alox and mineral spirits stood on end, brass or nickel cases; doesn't seem to matter, CCI primers and 4.3 gr of Unique. Works for my pistol just fine.

Very minimal to no leading at all. But I run a Lewis lead remover with the brass patch through the bore when I give it a total tear down cleaning. Never seems to be any lead on the patch.

And most of all they go bang every time. I'm new to the casting and reloading stuff, so I know there's more info on loads and the like but I'm having a good time and that's what matters to me.

Hope all goes well with you all in coming days.

Yep, they shoot great.

Once talked to a "gunsmith???" who was packing a B&C in .45acp. I ask him about shoot'in cast in the B&C and he said they wouldn't work. I just told him if they didn't in my gun, I be switch'in guns.

Oh ya, what are B&Cs???????

Come on now, you all know about S&W the canners of fruits and veggies, "B"eans & "C"orn etc. etc.:kidding::kidding:[smilie=l:[smilie=w:

Should have seen that "gunsmith's" face when I said something about his "B&C".

Have a friend who is a B&C lover and I have no end of fun razz'in him!:)

:cbpour: Keep em coming! [smilie=1:
