This press is being sold as a shotgun press, I don't think it is. It is very similar to a Lyman AA, make is unknown, probably a copy. I has a seven station turret. and appears to be quite robust. Anyone know anything about it???. I tried to copy the pic but failed. so here is the item number 170005875938

The press is similar to a Lyman, but's it's not a Lyman. The old Lyman's for one thing didn't have that many stations on the turret. It could very well be an old 12 ga press, it's hard to tell what size the holes are in the turret. As you know 12ga dies would be pretty fat.

I'll bounce this off our "20th Century Loading Tools" guru, Ken on the ARTCA Board (www.antiquereloadingtools.com) and see what he says. Check there under"Message > "20th Century...." and see if you can spot it. It sorta rings a bell, but I'm not an expert on the odder ones.

Someone set the seller straight .

It is not a shot shell loader but a Texan brand turret press for rifle and pistol cartridges. Made during the late 60's to the early 70's. I have one identical to it in my collection. Ken

This was Ken's e-mail response to me; a little more info on where it came from:

"That is a Texan turret press. Kind of rusty but restorable. I have one like it. Mine has the sticker on the front faded out but I believe it to be a Sovereign Ind. Texan."
