is there a homemade(read cheaper) alternative to alox for tumble lubed boolits?

Don't know of any "home made" substitute for alox (especially anything cheaper). Some guys use Johnson's Paste wax, both solo and mixed with alox, but I've not tried JPW alone. When I need some alox, I just buy some from Lahr's. They have Xlox in quarts, and 8 oz. bottles. An 8 oz. bottle lasts me a looooooong time and is inexpensive (I spill almost as much as I use!).
