Soy wax is one of three ingredients I use in Pearl Lube. The other two are cheep vegie shortning and wax toilet bowl seal rings. I mix equal amounts by WEIGHT, melt in a double boiler, stir and pour into slugs for lube/sizers.
If ya want more information, I'm found on www.biglube.com when you click on contact me.

Toilet bowl rings are 90 percent paraffin, 10 percent beeswax. ... felix

Felix,
You sure about that? I looked up the MSDS on a few brands and there's no mention of beeswax in them anymore, strickly all petroleum products.

Joe, man made beeswax at that! That is what makes it 100 percent petro. ... felix

Yeah, man duplicates everything else, why not beeswax. I bet they leave that binder out of it that bee produces.

50% Soy Wax, 35% MAXIMA Castor927, 15% Lanolin.
Haven't tried to pan lube with this yet, but dip lubing works well.
when dip lubing pull the bullet out slow and set it on a sheet of waxpaper
when it almost hardens rock the bullet and twist leaving a ring on the paper.
I usually dip up to the middle of the bore riding section.
When inserting into the case just wipe off the excess.
This lube requires less heat, in a double boiler, than beewax based lubes

Also makes a great wad lube for fiber wads, as is. A quick dip in melted soy wax. Better than my old 90% parafin- 10% mineral oil lube. It seems slicker & less brittle than parafin or beeswax. Low ash too.
