I am looking for information on how to adjust a Model 722 trigger.....
does anyone have that information?
the book Bolt Action Rifles, 4th edition by Frank De Haas, Wayne Van Zwoll has this information on 402, but the book is out of print and our library does not have a copy...
thanks

I adjusted my 721 trigger when I first got it a few years ago. I seemed to be the same as my old model 700.

The trigger has 2 screws on the front end and one on the back. The back screw is the sear engagement. The top front is for overtravel adjustment. The bottom front is the weight of pull screw.I hope this helps.

Don't know if it is the same as a 700, but if it I have found these instructions to be valuable:
here is the link:

I believe that is the same as my 721 trigger. You can see the sear engagement through the window (hole) in the side. Test it numerous times after adjustment. Attempt to open bolt and release safety after, etc. to be sure it will still hold.
