Geezus. I got confused.

I'll cover the cast load development and the need for a chronograph.

No you don't need a chronograph. If you do .... or don't have one, .... the technique for load development is exactly the same.

1. Load some shells.
2. Shoot them.
3. Carry your a** down range.
4. See what happened.
5. Decide if you are satisfied. If not, repeat steps 1-4 with something else.
6. If stumped, ask "a" question.

This technique has never failed me. Go get'em Eli.
