I have just about decided bottom pouring isn't for me and am going back to ladle casting over the one or two burner Coleman stove. I have the too-small Lyman ten lb. cast iron pot, and a too-large Harbor Freight dutch oven. I need something in the middle that will hold about 20 lbs. of alloy. I can't find anything suitable in the kitchen to borrow, and searching the local Marts has been unproductive as well. Any good ideas greatly appreciated. Tony

The WalMarts I've looked at had several different sizes Dutch Ovens or cast iron kettles if you prefer. Two quart would be a good size, hold almost 50 pounds if full up, but 30 to 40 pounds would be a comfortable working level.
