Where can I find a 45 ACP Truncated Nose bullet mold that weighs in at about 200 grains?

Thanks.

Lee has one in 230gn. I prefer the 200gn FN myself.

Nobody makes a 200gr. Truncated nose bullet mold. I made one! I bought the LEE 230gr. TC mold and cut .068" off the top of the mold (bottom of the bullet). Basically I cut off half of the bottom between the base and lube groove. As cast, they drop from the new mold at 202gr., CLOSE ENOUGH! Magma makes a 200gr. RN mold, but I like the TC nose better. If interested I can take pics and post them?

I tried the LEE 160gr. and 200gr. RNFP, but wasn't satisfied so I decided to try the mold modification. Needless to say it worked so well that I am going to buy another mold to modify to increase my production. They are only 2 cavity molds, but I can crank them out pretty fast with two.

Not true. Magma makes a great 200grTC mold. I have been using it for about 2yrs. Makes a bullet w/ sim bearing surface to the 200grLSWC. Great choice for guns that do not like LSWC (ie, XD, Glock).

I stand corrected! I must have missed that mold when I ordered my 200gr. RN. If i would have seen that one I would have ordered it for sure!

Thanks for the info RRR and Fred!

Any one want to buy a lightly used 200gr. Magma mold?
