View Full Version : K31 stripper clips
I am thinking of ordering some from Aim. Does anyone have any experiance with these, or from any other company? I am mainly concerned with how many times I can reuse them.
Thanks db2

The K31 stripper clip is the smoothest working clip I've ever used. Don't be put off by their appearance. They are a lot sturdier than they look and can be reused almost indefinitely if they aren't abused. I don't know what AIM is charging but I've bought most of mine at gun shows for $1.00 to $1.50. I have seen them advertised for $5.00 but that is ridiculous. I've seen some ammo dealers include free clips with surplus GP11 ammo.

I got a dozen new from Tennessee Gun Parts for $20 delivered. I see he still has them in stock.
I have 6 extra that will go for 50 cents each plus shipping. I have yet to wear one out, but I know they will go 10 uses easy.

They are pretty fragile, they seem to be made out of paper and tin. I shot a K-31 in a Garand/Vintage Bolt match yesterday and the reload for the rapids went smooth. If you are carefull, I would think you could get lots of use out of one. Not sure how they will handle getting wet.
