Rifle or Pistol primers

I'm about to work with my 7-08 and 140 & 160 gn cast .Starting load will be 16.0 2400 And a 308 with NOE's195 Gn. 311299, starting with about 18.0 2400.
I've had good results [single # SD} with Pistol primers in 30-30 & Unique. I thoiught I'ld ask before loading up a bunch and having to fight blown primers

If your pressures are below 30,000 K, you should be OK with pistol primers.

If you'll be over that, I'd switch on over to standard Large rifle primers.
