Just got a Lyman 358665 and as this was the first run, I heated it pretty slow.
May not be necessary but I worry about these things. Warmed a bit on a hot plate while lead melted then cast and discarded until the boolits looked good. Lyman says not to dip their moulds in the melt to warm them but after pre-heating and dumping a dozen or so culls I dipped the bottom edge for 4-5 seconds and it sure helped.
This mould cast really fast, open it up and the boolits fell out. After it was hot and cast a few the sprue plate had to be tightened up a bit. The boolits fell out around .359 and weighed 165-166 from wheel weights. Lubed them with White Label 50-50. Now if it quits snowing and warm up, I'll shoot a few and see what happens.
