Remington 6 1/2 SR primers work for small pistol ro small pistol magnums?

These are the standard 7 1/2s, these are the 6 1/2s for small end small rifle (ie hornets and the like). Anyone actually tried this?

So far, I've fired about 150 rounds of .38 Special target loads with Remington 6 1/2's getting normal accuracy and no problems. I'm using them up in a revover since this particular lot seems to blow out the side in my .22 Hornet with light loads. For the record, small pistol and Winchester small rifle primers do not do the same thing in my Hornet.
