A well known surgeon signs up at a Trade School for a course on Basic Motor Mechanics.
He works very hard at learning the new skills required to complete the course and after several years of study and practical testing, the time for the final exam comes around.
The Instructor says to the students that the points will be award for their skills in disassembling and reassembling the motor on the work stand in front of them.
Each student can earn up to 50 points for the disassembly and up to 50 points for the successful reassembly of the motor.
After several hours of hard work by the students the Instructor hands out the report cards to them which had their points marked indicating their various skill level.
As the students leave the classroom the surgeon now qualified mechanic approaches the Instructor. He asks the Instructor to explain the points noted on his reported card saying "If the maximum number of points I could earn for disassembling or reassembling the motor successfully is 50 points each, why did you give me 75 points for each task?"
(The answer my give a hint of what speciality the surgeon had prior to starting the course).
The instructor replies, "Because you did both tasks through the exhaust pipe."
