Is the SS Bisley 44 Special a Lipsey offering or is it a Ruger catalogue item? Are they available yet or is it just promo pictures we are seeing?

I think I am going to try to track one down.

Thanks,

I don't know but I would love to have one in the 4&5/8ths inch barrel.
This is going to break me!

Crabo I have looked the Ruger website up and down and I cant find a stainless Blackhawk Bisley in .44 special anywhere. I also checked the lipsey website and I see a blued, but no stainless bisley framed gun. There is a standard framed stainless steel Blackhawk in .44 special listed on the Lipsey website.
I get the feeling that I'm looking for a unicorn here. Do you have a link?

Well, I confused the blue one in post 32 of Dale's picture thread with the one in post 50, which is not the special.

I'm going to talk to my local enabler and see if he buys from Lipsey and what he can find out. I have never gotten into single actions, but this one keeps calling me. I also didn't care about lever guns, but now I am looking for a fourth one.

First off they are a Lipsey's only run for at least the first year, they committed to 500 each in 5 1/2" and 4 5/8".

Secondly they are blued only, they are making a Stainless 4 5/8" with a standard grip frame through one of the distributors not Lipseys

Thirdly they are shipping them and they are wonderful!

Is the cylinder frame on the Bisley .44 spl. the old .357 size or the Blackhawk size?
Good looking revolver. I'd like one if it's the small cylinder frame.

I just went to the Lipsey's website and right there it says midsize .357 frame. I'll be getting one of those soon as I can find one.
