Have not owned one but they where, and are good machines, I know some one will say they aint a 10EE or a Pacemaker but any way you can just see it was made well.

Well I'm just dreamin' for now.

Problem with lathes like the 10EE and my Hardinges are the size capability. One of these days I want to replace my Logan 11x24 with a 12x36, or 13x40 sized lathe like above. I read a post where a guys sold his 10EE because his Harrison performed so well.

That's why I settled on my Clausing 14x46. Now if I could just find a Bridge Port type knee mill before I retire from the goverment.

Lordy, there was a Bridgeport come up on Craigs list for $1200 last week that was just used in an electronic prototype shop with SONY dro and powerfeed.

Looked like new, and I mean NEW! The very best deal I've ever seen on one. I couldn't afford the time or extra money to swing it,. Mine does the job it needs to but holy cow.

I hope the person who got that B-Port realizes the unbelievable deal they got. The DRO would cost that much.

I have a Harrison L6, 12" swing lathe, made in 1967. It is very similar to the pictured lathe, except it has no gap. It is a very good lathe, rigid and powerful. It weighs just about 2000 lbs.
