I have some wild boar roasts. How about if I slice it thin, soak in salt and brown sugar, smoke it and fry like bacon?

I would assume it would taste like side pork (Uncured pork bellies), If it has any boar smell to it I think you would be better off doing something with it, smoked and seasoned. Todd

OK, I thawed a roast and will rub a dry cure on it. When done I will smoke it, then slice and fry some.
I will let you all know.
