Goex cartridge powder

Okay fellas, help me out please. I have called and visited at least 8 gun and muzzleloading shops in my area and none carry GOEX Cartridge powder. Any ideas as where to get it in southeastern Pennsylvania.

I think I saw Graf's carrying GOEX Cartridge powder. Mail order might be your best bet. Best of luck to you.

I went to Shyda's on tuesday and they don't have cartridge.

I live close to Reading Pa. A trade would work well.

I'll check and see how much I have for sure. I'm in the Halifax/Elizabethville area, but get to Harrisburg often.

One solution is to get a bunch of charcoal burners together, like from your club, and order direct from a distributor. You'll probably have to order a minimum of 25 pounds, but most will let you mix grades of powder to reach the minimum order. One HAZMAT charge should cover the entire order.

As hard as it is getting to be to find real black powder, this may be a growing problem. Where I live in Maryland, hardly anybody still carries real BP.

cherokee, there's nothing mysterious about Goex CTG - in fact you can make your own with Goex FFg and FFFg. Just mix the percentages below: 97.54 FFg and 1.70 FFFg and jiggle the 0.76% into the FFFg for more ZIP! [smilie=1:

Goex Cartridge – (05-37) 02OC07B
12 mesh – 0.62% retained
14 mesh – 0.03% retained
20 mesh – 97.54% retained ... is FFg
30 mesh – 01.70% retained ... is FFFg
Through – 0.11%

I sieve test all my BP brands and granulation's using certified laboratory screens.

guys-- I found that the Northern war guys have some one that sells it at the partys they have so next time you are around one ask some of thr guys and you can get it there . It was about the same as the place that sell it but no hazmat fee
